You're an Information Science junior? I have some younger friends in that major. Who are the go-to companies for IS, or are you not necessarily going that route?
The point (of the site) is to network people with similar job searching interests, and serve as a forum for people to discuss and make better informed decisions. I should also remind you that there is a raffle going on right now where you get an "entry ticket" for every non-spam post you make. $100 is just about good for a dinner for two at jt's. You can read about it here.
We envision the site to be a place where Cornellians can congregate and provide each other advice and support. So basically what you are "supposed" to do on this site is really up to you.
If you are looking for a particular job/internship that is listed, I would encourage you to post in the forum of the employer. You can ask about interviews, past experiences, what it's like to work there, etc etc.
If you are looking for a graduate school, I would encourage you to discuss that as well. Like the employers, you can basically ask anything you'd like.
If you've had previous internship/grad school experiences, you can elect to share them as well. This way, you would be able to help other Cornellians that are interested in the same opportunity.
I see that you created ADP. What did you do there?
