Program structure

The
UBS EXPLORE Graduate Program takes place over an 18-24 month period and
combines focused training and education with business exposure,
networking opportunities and career development.

Discover our world

EXPLORE
begins with an introduction to who we are and what we do. You’ll learn
about our strategy, vision and values, the UBS brand and how we build
long-term relationships. Practical examples will help you understand
our integrated business model and culture. You’ll start making plans
and setting objectives for your personal and career development over
the next two years.

Get ready for work

Ready-for-work
training begins with a period of intensive learning. Subjects reflect
the activities and practices of your business area, giving you the
knowledge and the skills to make an immediate contribution to our
success as a firm. You will also complete any exams and licensing
requirements for your position.

You will have the opportunity to further develop your technical
skills throughout the 18-24 month experience. Roadmaps of core courses
will guide your professional development in your chosen business area.
You may also be assigned a mentor to guide your career path.

Some businesses rotate graduates through different desks and
departments to broaden their understanding and provide opportunities to
explore new areas. You may also take further professional
qualifications.

Make connections

Teamwork
drives our achievements, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity during
your training to make connections with graduate peers in your region
and build up a global network of contacts across the firm.

Presentations, discussion groups, training sessions and social events
bring graduates together across the organization to share experiences
and get to know the firm and each other in a supportive and inclusive
atmosphere. These cross-business learning initiatives will increase
your insight and give you exposure to different aspects of our
business.

Our leaders take a personal interest in the progress of our
graduates and they will share their views on our markets, business
strategy and the priorities of the firm through formal communications
and in person.

Celebrate your success

EXPLORE
concludes with a celebratory event in your region. You and your peers
will reflect on your achievements and prepare for the next phase in
your professional development.

something that stays with you throughout your UBS career.
